Our Helpline "stands" by Long Islands Alzheimer's community 365 days a year at no charge to callers. This valuable resource offers information; referrals and support to family and caregivers, relatives of patients and anyone in need of help regarding a dementia patient or services.

We also offer, through our National Contact Center, a translation service. We now have the capability of translating more than 150 languages. To request translation services please call 1-800-272-3900

Research Programs
The Alzheimer's Association is working to accelerate research progress by creating alliances in discovery programs for treatments, risk factors, and early markers, and to speed up the transfer of information and technology among scientists. The national office of the Alzheimer's Association is the largest funding source for Alzheimer research outside of the federal government.
